Employee Resource Groups

Through our ERGs, we bring together colleagues and allies with a shared focus on raising awareness of the unique lived experiences of different communities. The ERGs also provide opportunities for skill development through committee leadership, chair seats, council roles, communications support and event planning. To advance our work and further widen our perspectives, we bring in external partners with expertise to inspire our ERG initiatives.

Every ERG community is open to all colleagues, and we encourage colleagues to join multiple groups. Our ERGs host regular town halls, speaker events, colleague spotlights, volunteer and community events, and other opportunities to connect with colleagues around the world.

 

Our active and forming ERGs include:

  • The EmpoWer ERG collaboratively drives an ecosystem within Viatris that empowers women to reach their full potential. 

 

  • The VIVID ERG supports LGBTQ+ colleagues and allies in building an inclusive workplace culture where all colleagues can be their authentic selves.

 

  • RISE, the ERG for colleagues of African descent, creates a culture of diversity and inclusion at Viatris that supports the growth and workplace wellbeing of employees of African descent, through advocacy, allyship, community service, networking, cultural education and professional development.

 

  • The Care ERG supports all caregivers as they navigate the logistical and emotional challenges of balancing professional and caregiving responsibilities.

Viatris U.S. EEO-1 Report

Diversity and inclusion are essential to Viatris’ mission. We have chosen to make our 2022 EEO-1 consolidated report available. The report is reflective of our U.S. organization as of December 2022 and includes data required by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). The job categories in the report represent federally mandated EEO job categories, which differ from our internal organizational structure and titling. The EEOC mandated gender categories of male and female may be different than how our employees choose to identify.

The EEO-1 report is only one source of data at Viatris. Our Diversity Goals, as stated in our Global Sustainability Report, demonstrate our commitments to improve gender, race, and ethnic diversity, and, to engage our colleagues worldwide in foundational diversity learning. We recognize that the diversity we foster within can be one of our greatest strengths in achieving breakthroughs for patients worldwide and for creating a supportive, inclusive and highly engaging work environment where everyone can bring their best, authentic selves to work every day.
